Mrs. Nora Hey, 87, R. R. 4, Shelbyville, died Monday at 11:20 a.m. at Heritage House Convalescent Center following an illness of 12 years.
Born in Shelby Township where she spent most of her life, Mrs. Hey was the daughter of John and Ella (Newcomb) Mohr. She was married to David Hey on Sept. 7, 1904, and he died July 10, 1948.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Harry (Sarah) McCrea, R. R. 5, Shelbyville, and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Mrs. Hey was a member of the Mt. Gilead Baptist Church and its missionary society.
Services will be at the Ewing Mortuary at 10:30 .m. Thursday. The Rev. Leo Sheffel will officiate and burial will be in Miller Cemetery. friends may call at the mortuary after 4 p.m. Wednesday. (Obit: The Shelbyville News, Dec. 7, 1971)
