Delphi Carroll County Citizen Times October 10, 1908

Tuesday morning while Adam Blinn,
accompanied by his wife and two daughters,
Mrs. Jenkins, of Ohio, and Mrs.
Frain, of North Dakota, were coming
to this city to spend the day with
another daughter, Mrs. Edward Beard,
Mr. Blinn took sick when near the
Hughes home at the old Turpie farm
and was removed to the house where
he expired soon afterwards.
Mr. Blinn was probably one of the
best known men in Carroll county
where he had resided for a number of
years and his untimely death is greatly
mourned by his large circle of friends
and relatives. He was kind, considerate
and generous with his fellow men
and an estimable neighbor. Deceased
was about 76 years of age and is survived
by a widow and seyen children.
His remains were taken to his late
home at Pyrmont where the funeral
was held Thursday.
