H. M. Griffin, long time resident of Hunt County died Saturday morning at 2:06 o'lock in Sulphur Springs. Mr. Griffin is said to have suffered a stroke in June followed by another on the 24th of October.
Funeral services will be held at the Owens Funeral Chapel in Wolfe City, Monday at 10 a.m. Burial will be in the Tidwell cemetery.
Surviving are a daughter, Mrs. T. J. Killian of Ft. Worth; one son, L. H. Griffin of Sulphur Springs; two granddaughters, Mrs. B. D. Kidwell of Ft. Worth; Mrs. Patsy Adams of Paris and three grandsons, Mack Griffin of Rapid City, South Dakota; Lynn Griffin of Austin and Bobby J. White of Ft. Worth; three great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
