Odean (Bright) Scoville was born on March 4, 1918 in Lynxville, WI to William and Margaret (Roach) Bright. She passed away on August 19, 1959.
In 1935 she married Eugene (Bud) Oppreicht, son of Herman and Mayme (McNamara) Oppreicht. Together they had a daughter, Janice Gayle (Charles) Caya. Odean and Bud divorced and later Odean married Ray Scoville.

Odean was survived by her daughter, Janice, her sister Evelyn Krause and a brother Dale Bright.
She was preceded in death by her father, William, a sister Eloda Bright and a brother Thomas Bright as well as her grandparents, Thomas and Lodica (Vanderbilt) Bright.
