Daughter of Julius Caesar Hampton and Jane Elizabeth Davenport.

Her parents divorced a few years later; with her mother Jane marrying Elisha Locke on Dec 24 1893. Her father Julius married Frances Harkins on Jun 3, 1893 in Caddo, Blue County.

Susan died at age 65 from abdominal cancer.

OBITUARY
HUGO - Services for Mrs. Wilson Locke, 65, native Oklahoman who was born in the Finley settlement nine miles northwest of Antlers, were held at 2 pm Sunday in the Chruch of Christ here. Mrs. Locke died Saturday in Memorial Hospital after several months illness.

She was married to the late Wilson Locke, a member of a prominent Choctaw Indian family. He died in 1945. Mrs. Locke had been a member of the Church of Christ for the past 41 years. She lived in Choctaw County the last 48 years.

Survivors are four daughters, Ernestine Locke, Hugo; Mrs. Virgil Darter and Mrs. Fred Parker, both of Ozark, Ark., and Mrs. Howard Grimes, Lubbock, Texas;
five sons, Edward Locke of Oklahoma City; Frank Locke, Woodrow Locke, and Eldridge Locke of Hugo, and Vernon Locke, McAlester; a half sister, Bertie Locke, Hugo, twenty-seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
