According to his death certificate, Barney was born in Widoby [I believe this should be Weatherby in Herkimer County], New York, son of Walter and Mary (Skora) Trancygier. He died at home, 1292 Poplar Street, in Wyandotte, Michigan of coronary occlusion. He was single and living with his mother. Barney was a flower grower for Hunter's Greenhouse. He was buried in Mt Carmel Cemetery in Wyandotte near his parents on October 11, 1948.
