Norma Swearingen Chamberlain, 74, of Phoenix. Ariz., formerly of Casey, died January 19, 1999 in Phoenix.
Funeral services were held at 1 p.m. today (Monday, January 25) at the A.L. Moore-Grimshaw Funeral Home in Phoenix. Burial was held at Greenwood Memory Lawn, Phoenix.
She was horn October 8, 1924 in Casey, the daughter of Ralph and Florence (Alexander) Swearingen. She married Earnest Chamberlain of Phoenix in 1945. He preceded her in death in 1987.
Survivors include one son, Dennis Chamberlain of Phoenix; two daughters, Janice Hanson of Stamps, Ark. and Debbie Swanson of Phoenix; two sisters, Lois Staley of Sun City West, Ariz. and Joyce Hanners of Casey; seven grandchildren; six great-grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
Mrs. Chamberlain was preceded in death by her parents; her husband; a daughter, Diane and a brother, Robert Swearingen.
Norma is the gr gr gr granddaughter of William Alexander, Rev War Vet, 1752 Virginia - 1831 Kentucky.
