Robert D. Swearingen, 64, of W. Sacramento, Calif, formerly of
Casey, died at 4:30 (PST) Saturday, January 3, 1998 in W. Sacramento,
Calif.
Funeral services were held Wednesday, January 7 at the Sacramento Garden Chapel in W. Sacramento. Burial was held in W. Sacramento.
He was born January 3, 1934 in Casey, the son of Ralph H. and
Florence (Alexander) Swearingen. He married Sharon Yocum on May
11, 1983. Mr. Swearingen was a retired truck driver.
Survivors include his wife Sharon; a son, John of Salem, Ore.; two
daughters, Sarah of Salem, Ore and Bobbie Joyce at home; two step-
sons; three step-daughters of West Sacramento; three sisters, Mr. and
Mrs. Leon (Lois) Staley of Sun City, West, Ariz., Nonna Chamberlain of
Phoenix, Ariz. and Mr. and Mrs. Deon (Joyce) Hanners of Casey and
several nieces and nephews.
