GAFFIN - MRS. MARY LOU, 69, died in a local hospital Wednesday morning. She is survived by three sisters, Mrs. F. P. Austin and Mrs. Nannie Brown of Chattanooga; Mrs. P. S. Walker, Guntersville, Ala.; one brother, Dr. William Marcus Taylor, Chattanooga. She was a member of the First Christian church for many years. She was the widow of the late R. R. Gaffin, a veteran railroad postal clerk. Funeral services will be held this morning at 10 o'clock in the chapel of the National Funeral Home, with Elder E. H. Hoover, assisted by Dr. John Paul Pack and Rev. Leslie G. Thomas conducting. Burial will be in the Highland Cemetery at Sparta, Tenn.
