Ackley, Ia.- Funeral services for Mrs Anna Burns, 72, who died at her home south of Faulkner, Monday night from heart disease, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Thursday at St. Mary's Catholic church by Rev. J.J. O'Meara. Interment will be in St. Mary's cemetery.
Mrs. Burns was born at Manitowoc, Wis., Oct. 9, 1858, and had made her home near Faulkner since her marriage at Daughtery 43 years ago.
Surviving are one daughter, Miss Agnes of Mason City, and one son Joe, of Ackley; one sister, Mrs Bridget Murphy, Manitowoc, Wis., and three brothers, Will Hogan, Mason City; John Hogan, Daughtery, Ia., and Michael of Wisconsin.
Her husband died 23 years ago.

Her maiden name was Ann Hogan, sister of the late Judge T.W. Hogan [MEMORIAL ID 79133488] of Antigo. She is survived by a son, Joseph and a daughter, Agnes; also three brothers, William, John and Edward in Iowa and a sister, Mrs. Owen Murphy of Manitowoc. Mrs. Murphy and her daughter, Agnes, left Tuesday for Ackley to attend the funeral.
