Mrs. Burns was born at Manitowoc, Wis., Oct. 9, 1858, and had made her home near Faulkner since her marriage at Daughtery 43 years ago.
Surviving are one daughter, Miss Agnes of Mason City, and one son Joe, of Ackley; one sister, Mrs Bridget Murphy, Manitowoc, Wis., and three brothers, Will Hogan, Mason City; John Hogan, Daughtery, Ia., and Michael of Wisconsin.
Her husband died 23 years ago.

News of the death of Mrs. Ann Burns at her home in Ackley, Iowa, was received here Monday. She was about 68 years of age. She was born and reared in Newton. Her maiden name was Ann Hogan, sister of the late Judge T.W. Hogan [MEMORIAL ID 79133488] of Antigo. She is survived by a son, Joseph and a daughter, Agnes; also three brothers, William, John and Edward in Iowa and a sister, Mrs. Owen Murphy of Manitowoc. Mrs. Murphy and her daughter, Agnes, left Tuesday for Ackley to attend the funeral.
