BEAVER--Ora Cleve Hofheins, 83, beloved husband, father, and grandfather passed away May 25, 1999 due to problems incident to age.
He was born June 14, 1915 in Beaver, Utah, to John Michael and Martha Jane Morgan Hofheins. He married Lucile Evans, September 20, 1939 in the Manti LDS Temple, and they became the parents of six children. A life-long resident of Beaver, he was active in farming and ranching.
He is survived by his wife, Lucile and children: Janet (Kimball) Weaver, Bernell (Starr) Hofheins, Joyce Alsup, Donna (Tony) Schmid, and Kent (Kari) Hofheins. He has 25 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; a sister, Mattie Barton; and numerous nieces and nephews and brothers and sisters-in-law. Ora was preceded in death by his parents, a brother, Irel Hofheins, a daughter, Betty Hofheins Byrge, two granddaughters, Francis Mae Byrge and Stacey Ann Byrge and a grandson, Keegan Hofheins.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, May 28, 1999 at 1 p.m. in the Beaver 3rd & 4th Ward chapel. Friends may pay their respects on Friday at the church from 11 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Interment will be in the Mountain View Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Mortuary.
