Howard Norman Hudnall, 83, of Box 405, Cedar Grove, died July 3, 1987, at Thomas Memorial Hospital after a long illness. He was a retired coal miner for Valley Camp Coal Company with 43 years's service. He was a lifelong resident of Ward and Mammoth areas. He was a member of the Free Pentecostal Holiness Faith and UMW.

Surviving wife, Hallie J. (Landers) Hudnall, sons, Kinnie Dale of Alum Creek, Bobby Jean and Dalton Norman, both of Ward, Carroll Ray of West Salem, Ohio, daughters, Katherine Virginia "Sue" Herald of Cedar Grove, Velda K. Mullins of North Olmsted, Ohio, sisters, Mrs. Garnett Watson of White Sulphur Springs, and Mrs. Macel Myers of Cannelton, 22 grandchildren, 23 great-grandchildren.

Service will be 1 p.m. Monday at Cook Funeral Home, Cedar Grove, with Rev. Lewis Maynard and the Rev. Maxie Estep officiating. Entombment will be in Kanawha Valley Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, Glasgow. Friends may call from 7 to 9 p.m. today at the Funeral Home.
