Last Rites For Kenneth Hargis Planned Today

Graveside services were scheduled for 11 a.m. Monday, today, from the Harwood cemetery for Kenneth Hargis of a Orange, who die there February 8. He was 90 years of age.
The Rev. Charles B. Fraser, pastor of the First Presbyterian church, conducted the last rites with Seydler Funeral home in charge of the arrangements.
His survivors include two daughters, Mrs. Myrtle Richards of Vidor; Mrs. Lucille Isaacks of Carlsbad, Tex.; and two sons, H. B. Hargis of Buena; and H. M. Hargis of Orange.

Son of:
William Kilpatrick HARGIS, Sr. of South Carolina
and
Esther Jane (GLOVER) HARGIS of Mississippi.

His parents were married in 1855 in Gonzales County, Texas.

Grandson of (paternal):
Abraham HARGIS of North Carolina
and
Elizabeth (KILPATRICK) HARGIS of South Carolina.

Widowed husband of:
Sallie (HARVEY) HARGIS.

They were married August 22, 1897 in Gonzales County, Texas.

He was a resident of Vidor, Orange County, Texas.

Informant on death certificate was H. V. HARGIS.
