Born in 1894 and died in 1922, he is buried in Orchard Mesa Block B. He was scalded to death in a boiler explosion at the town flour mill. He initially escaped the explosion but ran back into the building to rescue his brother-in-law N. Leonard Jorgensen. Both men died from their injuries and are buried next to each other.
