Jacob Ernst Haug, 66, of 2116 Hazel avenue died at 4 p.m.
Wednesday in University Hospital in Columbus where he had been a patient four and half weeks.
Mr. Haug was born Sept. 6, 1897. in Wayne Township, a son of John and Fredricka Kohler Haug and was a life resident of this community.
He had been employed at Armco Steel Corporation plant here for 42 years as a crane operator.
Mr. Haug was a member of Emanuel United Church of Christ and Eagles Lodge.
Surviving are his widow; Ruth; two sisters, Mrs. Clara Rittberger of White Oak Avenue and Mrs Helena Cunningham of Nashport; two brothers, Carl Haug of White Oak Avenue and Edward of 518 Kinzel Avenue; and a numbers of nieces and nephews.
Burial will be in Mount Olive Cemetery, Zanesville
