Funeral services for Mrs. Anna M. Bannon, 94, formerly of 438 Locust St., who died of complications incident to advanced age at 5 p.m. Wednesday at Woodlawn Convalescent Home, will be at 9 a.m. Saturday at Sacred Heart church. Friends may call at the Oppold Funeral Home. She was a patient at Woodlawn for two months.
She was born Anna M. Hayes July 19, 1876, near Ackley, daughter of William and Margaret Schmidt Hayes and was married there May 2, 1905, to John Bannon who died in 1913. She was a member of Sacred Heart church and its Rosary Society.
Surviving are one daughter, Mrs. Leonard Burry, of 428 Locust St; three sons, John of 438 Locust St., William J., of Keystone, and Francis, of Belle Plaine; five grandchildren and greatgrandchildren; and one sister, Mrs. Ella Roth, Inglewood, Callif. She was preceded in death by parents, husband, four brothers, one sister and one grandson.
