Donald K. Andrews, 64 of Stone St. Oneida passed away Thursday August 4, 2011 at the Heritage Health Center in Utica.
Born in Binghamton, Don was a life resident of the Canastota-Oneida area. Don was a life long avid professional musician and was a member of several local bands, most recently with Rewind.
He was an N-Gauge model railroading enthusiast and was a life member of the National Model Railroaders Assoc.
Don was predeceased by his father, Elmer Andrews in 1997; his mother, Rheba Andrews in 2010 and a sister, Denise Andrews in 1973. Surviving are two sons, Paul and Collin of Florida; a brother, Robert C. Andrews (Marsha) of Blossvale; a nephew, Robert C. Andrews II and several aunts, uncles and cousins.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Monday, Aug. 8 at the G.F. Zimmer Funeral Home, 702 Legion Drive, Chittenango. Burial will follow in Lenox Rural Cemetery, Canastota. A calling hour will be 1-2 p.m. Monday prior to the service.
