Della Bennett Caudle
Mrs. Della Bennett Caudle, 82, of 1106 E. James Street in Cleburne died January 16, 1976 in Whitney. Born April 6, 1893 in the Bethel Community, she was the daughter of John Pinion and Pelina Blocker Bennett. She attended school in the Bethel Community and lived in Hill County most of her life. She moved to Cleburne 29 years ago. She married Lee Caudle January 6, 1909. He died Febraury 27, 1964. She was also preceded in death by a son, Gilbert Caudle on September 18, 1959 and a daughter, Mrs. Lois Watson June 25, 1963. She was a member of the East Side Church of Christ in Cleburne.
She is survived by; 4 children, Mrs. Horace C. Yates and Mrs. Lena Watson of Fort Worth, Mrs. F.M. Beasley of Mansfield, Mrs Ray Schultz of Hubbard, 20 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren, a sister in law Ova Bennett Of the Bethel Community; a daughter-in-law, Mrs. Mildred Anderson of Oklahoma City and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral service was Saturday, January 17, 1976 at Marshall and Marshall Chapel in Whitney with Willard Morrow and Joe Blakeney officiating. Interment was in the Peoria Cemetery.
