Jeremiah (Jerry) Francis Hogan passed away on Tuesday, September 26, at St. Joseph's hospital in Mankato. He had suffered strokes the past months and death was due to complications of old age, being 84 years of age.
The deceased was born on November 26, 1865, in Covington, Kentucky. When thirteen years old he moved with his parents to the farm west of Janesville where he lived until his retirement some years ago, at which time he moved to Janesville to make his home. His sister, Margaret, lived with him until her death three years ago in April. Since that time a cousin William Naghton, of St. Paul, has lived with him.
The only survivors are nieces, nephews and cousins. A brother, John Hogan preceded him in death eight years ago.
He was a member of St. Ann's Catholic church of Janesville and of he Catholic Order of Foresters.
