John Hogan, son of John and Ann Hogan was born on February 5, 1871 in Covington, Kentucky. At the age of 11 years he came to this community where he attended the rural schools and followed the occupation of farming during his sixty years residence here.
Surviving the deceased are two brothers Joseph, of Covington Kentucky, and Jerry of Janesville, and one sister, Margaret of Janesville.
Funeral services will be held on Friday morning at 8:30 O'clock from Arnoldt's Funeral Chapel and at 9 O'clock at St. Ann's Catholic church with Rev. FR English reading the requiem mass. Interment will take place in St. Ann's cemetery.
The pallbearers will be Thos. Nicholson, George Eustice, John Burke, James Gallagher, Ernest Schmidt and Louis Fogel.
