He married Alice C. Crockett in South Carolina, USA. They had at least two children: Otis Miller McMurrary Sr. and Crockett Huey McMurray. He then married Addie Drennon in South Carolina, USA.

Chester, Jan. 6 - T. Walker McMurray, formerly of Lancaster county but who has been residing in Richburg for the past few months, died at the age of 65 years, of complications of diseases resulting from an operation for appendicitis yesterday morning at 6 o'clock at his home.

By special request the funeral services were preached by Mr. McMurray's brother-in-law, Rev. J.T. Dendy, of the Ebenezer Presbyterian church, at the Union Presbyterian church this afternoon at 1 o'clock, and the interment was in the graveyard of the church.

Mr. McMurray was twice married. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Addie McMurray, daughter of the late J.S. Drennan of Richburg, and one son, Crockett McMurray, of Abbeville.

Mr. McMurray was a member of the Tirzah Presbyterian church, near Lancaster, and was at times an active member of the church. Most of his life was spent in looking after his large farming interests in Lancaster County.
