A service of remembrance will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home Chapel.
Mr. Hodges was born in Rockingham County on January 9, 1943, a son of Claude Swanson and Mary Steagall Hodges, both deceased. He was a retired supervisor with Dan River Mills.
He is survived by his sons, David Hodges, Chris Hodges and Andy Hodges; his sister, Barbara Hodges Tate; his brothers, Otha Hodges and Charles Hodges; and his friends and neighbors.
He was preceded in death by his sister, Helen H. Keller and his brothers, Leon Hodges, Herman Hodges, Douglas, Staton Hodges, Wayne Hodges and Drewey Hodges.
The family will receive friends from 10 until 11 a.m. immediately preceding the service at Boone-Reynolds Funeral Home.
