Service were held at the Campbell Funeral Home Wednesday for Lorenz Petersen, 61, who passed away at his home here Monday morning. Mr. Petersen was born in Germany, came to the United States many years ago, and became a farmer near here He had been in ill health for the past nine weeks.
Surviving besides his wife are two sons, John of Cedar Rapids and Louis of Cedar Rapids, two daughters, Mrs. Fredrick Miles of Cedar Rapids and Mrs. Marvin Fisher of Olin and one brother Charles of Lisbon.
Rev. A.E.Sommers had charge of the services.
