Doris Langford Cook was born July 3, 1927 in Gilchrist Co., FL. She was a life-long resident of the Newberry area. She was a homemaker, farmer's wife, President of the Newberry American Auxiliary Post 149, and a lifelong member of Union Baptist Church. She was preceded in death by her husband John Cook. She is survived by her children Jack (Marsha) Cook of Trenton, Judy (Burnell) Parker of Newberry, Joan (Pinky) Jones of Trenton, Johnnie (Kathy) Cook of Newberry, 9 Grandchildren, 6 Great Grandchildren, and sisters Irma Lee Sanchez of Newberry, and Ruth NesSmith of Trenton.
