Katie Christie, 79, Succumbs at Ackley
ACKLEY — Funeral services for Miss Katie Christie, 79, who died Friday of heart disease, will be conducted at 10 a.m. Monday at St Mary's Catholic church, the Rev. J.J. O'Meara officiating.
Miss Christie was born Aug. 16, 1858, in Pennsylvania and came to Iowa with her parents when a young girl.
Surviving are one brother, Patrick, two sisters, Miss Hannah Christie, at home, Mrs. Will Hayes at Marshalltown.
