Mrs Jesse Lee Rushing, 69, of 1263 Old Brandon Road, died at her home Wednesday at 2:20 pm, after an extended illness. she was a native of Tuscaloosa, Ala., and had been a resident of East jackson for the past six years. She is survived by her husband, jesse Lee Rushing, four sons, Jesse Lee Rushing, Jr.,Vietnam, Gene C. Rushing, Jackson, MS, James K. Rushing, Louisville, KY., James C.Rice, Greenwood,MS; four daughters Mrs.Kelly(Dora) Tharp of Jackson, Mrs Jimmie L.(Janie) Ellis and Mrs.Eloise Bailey, both of Greenwood, MS, Mrs Ida Mae(Pam) Sorenson, of Drummond, MT; two Step daughters Mrs James A.(Willie Mae) walley,of Jackson, MS, Mrs James E.(Estelle) Moore of Arlington, TX; two brothers Lee Englebert, Hollandale, Claude Englebert of Florida; three sisters Mrs.Joe Englebert of Tuscaloosa, Ala, Mrs Elise Maddox, Newton, Ala, Mrs.Clara Englebert of NC, and a large number of grandchildren.
Additional information is she had a deceased step daughter Vera Rushing Dunn of Indianapolis, IN. She was also preceded in death by another son possibly named Marshall Rushing.
