The Elisha Grove family, of Minneapolis, Minn., were summoned to Batavia last week by the serious illness of Mrs. Kate Nivison, mother of Mrs. Grove. While in Branch county, they will visit many other relatives.

Station Agent J. B. Murphy, of Batavia, is in receipt of a telegram from Farmington, Minn., stating the death of his elderly uncle, Elisha Grove, of that city, and the burial services which were held at his home on Monday, June 26, 1923, a year lacking one day from the death of his younger sister, Mrs. Harriet Murphy, J. B. Murphy' s mother. There are three brothers of the deceased still living, A. R. Grove, Theron and Jay, of Coldwater.
