Linda Lou was the daughter of was the daughter of Arthur Edward and Opal Campbell Davis. She attended schools in Ashland and graduated from Ashland High School. She then attended one year at East Central State College in Ada, then attended the Draughon School of Business and received her certificate. She worked at the United States Army Ammunitions Depot, then she was a secretary for the school of Stuart. She then worked as a secretary for Jackie Brannon Correctional Center. She was a member of the Bohannon Church and was a member of the Ladies Auxiliary of Veterans of Foreign Wars Post No. 1098. She passed away at McAlester Regional Health Center at the age of 72. Survivors include two sons, Randy Jones, of Stillwater, and Rodney Jones, of McAlester; three daughters, Robin and Doug Galloway, Fayetteville, Ark., Angela Faulkner, Springdale, Ark., and Deloris Johnson, Lincoln, Ark. Also, grandchildren, Chris Jones, Miranda Jones, Matthews Jones, Gary Don Jones, Douglas Galloway Jr., Serena Galloway, Carley Ann Galloway, Brent Faulkner, Brenda Faulkner, Zachary White and Natasha Haynie. And, great-grandchildren, Madison Jones, Corbin Jones, William Faulkner, Helen Faulkner, Braeson Haynie and Kason Haynie; brothers and sisters-in-law, Dale and Naomi Davis, El Reno, Douglas and Tubby Davis, of Ada, Glen and Jerry Davis, of Dow, and Ronald and Shirley Davis, of McAlester; 11 nieces and nephews and numerous great-nieces and great-nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; a son, Ricky Jones, and numerous aunts and uncles. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Thursday at Bohannon Church with the Rev. Charlie Jones officiating. Burial will be at Bohannon Cemetery. Funeral arrangements are under the direction of Bishop Funeral Service of McAlester. Honorary pallbearers will be Jimmy Davis, Jerry Davis, Mark Davis, Steve Davis and Tim Davis.
