He was retired as a craneman for U.S. Steel Irvin Works, West Mifflin. Mr. Capicotto was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II.
He was a member of the Elrama Volunteer Fire Company, the Elrama Sportsmen's Club, a life member of the 94th Infantry Division Association Inc., and a member of the United Steel Workers of America and the Wormleysburg American Legion.
Survivors include his wife, Shirley Ann Smith Capicotto; one daughter, Traci Zbrua of Floreffe; three sons, Ronald E. Capicotto of Elrama, Richard I. Capicotto of Belle Vernon, and Randy L. Capicotto of Gillette, Wyo.; two sisters, Rose Murray of Library and Margaret Ovsak of Monongahela; one brother, Robert Capicotto; and 10 grandchildren. Friends will be received in the PAUL E. BEKAVAC FUNERAL HOME, 221 Second St., Elizabeth. Funeral services will be held with the Rev. Donald Jones officiating.
Interment will follow in Jefferson Memorial Park, Pleasant Hills.
