MARRIAGE OF LOUIS MERCIER AND MARGUERITE BROUILLET
In the year one thousand eight hundred twenty two, and the fifteenth of January, after the publication of three banns of marriage done at the prone of the parish mass on three consecutive Sundays between Louis Mercier, adult son of Pierre Mercier, farmer, and of Marie Gagnon, his father and mother, of this parish, as the first party; and Marguerite Brouillet, adult daughter of Julien Brouillet, farmer, and of the late Francoise Deroche her father and mother also of this parish as the second party. Having discovered no impediment to the said marriage, we, priest undersigned, with the consent of the families, received their mutual consent and gave them the nuptial blessing, in the presence of Charles Br ?, uncle of the groom who signed with us, and Paul Mercier, brother of the groom who, with the groom, was unable to sign, and of Julien Menard, friend, Andre Crestien, friend of the bride who, with the bride, was unable to sign.
