She was preceded in death by her husband T. C. McFearin, Sr. whom she married July 6, 1979; parents James Wylie Vaught and Emma (Gilbreath) Vaught; sisters Juanita (Vaught) Beasley, Lucille (Vaught) Palmore, Syble (Vaught) Furr, Valarie (Vaught) Rutland and brother Cecil M. Vaught.
