Catherine (Covert) Brammell
Catherine (Covert) Brammell, 91, died Wednesday, March 10, 2004, in Bismarck, N.D. She was a resident of Mandan, N.D., and a former resident of Franklin.
She was born July 7, 1912, in Franklin. Her parents were Bert and Minnie (Banta) Covert. She married Charles Brammell on Sept. 22, 1940. He preceded her in death June 10, 1979. Survivors include three sons, C. Richard Brammell of Fargo, N.D., Robert B. Brammell of Leawood, Kan., and John R. Brammell of Mandan, N.D.; five grandchildren; two stepgrandchildren; and two great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a brother and a sister.
She graduated from Franklin High School in 1931.
She was employed by Graham Manufacturing Co., Hemphill Motors and Rothschild's in Franklin.
She was a member and elder of First Presbyterian Church in Mandan, N.D., and a former member of First Presbyterian Church in Franklin. She was also a member of Daughters of the American Revolution, Zonta and Order of Eastern Star in Mandan, N.D.
The Rev. Dole Kabben will conduct a service at 10:30 a.m. today at First Presbyterian Church, 310 3rd Ave. Northwest, in Mandan, N.D. Buehler Larson Funeral Home in Mandan, N.D., is handling arrangements.
