Alvin H. Kicklighter Died In Glennville Saturday Afternoon

Alvin H. Kicklighter,74, died at his residence near Glennville Saturday afternoon after a long illness. He was a retired farmer and a member of Watermelon Creek Baptist Church.

Survivors are his wife, Mrs. Nora Ray Kicklighter of Glennville; a daughter, Mrs. Warren Anderson of Glennville; two sons, C.J. Kicklighter of Glennville and Harold Kicklighter of Statesboro; two sisters, Mrs. Mattie Anderson and Mrs. Grace Stubbs of Glennville; two brothers, Marvin and Earl Kicklighter of Glennville; six grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 3:30 p.m. Monday at Beard's Creek Primitive Baptist Church, conducted by Rev. W.R. Barnard and Rev. H.C. Hodges. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Pallbearers were Wallord Kicklighter, J.A. Kicklighter, Gene Kicklighter, Wilton Ray, Doyle Ray, and Barry Stubbs.
