MRS. J.W. WHITE DIES; FUNERAL HELD WEDNESDAY
Mrs. Lillie White died Monday at the age of 78. Funeral services at Macy's chapel Wednesday were under the direction of Rev. S.J. Osborne, with burial at Evergreen Memorial park.
Born in Missouri in 1867, Mrs. White was married in Grant City, Mo., in 1889 to J.W. White, who survives her. She came to Polk county in 1902, and lived in McMinnville during the past two years.
Besides the widower, Mrs. White leaves three sons, Dr. B.A. White of McMinnville, Orval of Forest Grove and Earl of Grants Pass, and two sisters, Mrs. T.F. McGee of Beaumont, Calif., and Mrs. Floyd Longley of Flagstaff, Ariz.
