Funeral services for Clifford Eldridge Boswell were held Monday, 8/11/1997, at the Maysville Church of Christ. Interment followed at Tuttle, with arrangements under direction of John Williams of Winans Funeral Home, Maysville. Clifford Eldridge Boswell was born 11/26/1926 near Blanchard to George W. & Clara Blackman Boswell. He passed away 8/8/1997 at University Hospital as a result of a stroke at the age of 70. He was a member of a large family. The family came to Maysville about 1960 from the Lindsay area. Clifford did farm work for a living. He never married, and spent the most part of his life at home with his folks and brothers and sisters. He was a meber of the Church of Christ. He had been a resident of a Wewoka nursing home for the past number of years. Survivors include brothers, Cristo of Lindsay, Ezra of Maysville, Troy of Anadarko, Elbert of Wallville, Raymond of Idabel, Damon of Purcell, Jerry of Wewoka, & Melvin of Maysville, 1 sister, Jessie Moody of Seattle, WA., and other family members & friends. He was preceded in death by his parents, 2 sisters, Marie & Evelyn, and a brother, Marvin.
