Connie J.(born Conburse Emil) was the son of Oliver Joseph and Ethel Chloe McElhaney Ogden. He married Sarah Edyth Spradling 23 June 1916 in Muskogee, and they had one son, Jerry. He owned and operated Connie Ogden Grocery for many years,then founded Connie Ogden Furniture which was operated by his wife and son in Muskogee for about 50 years, after he began his dairy farm in Martin. He played a beautiful violin with Edyth on the piano at First Christian Church, but also played a "mean" fiddle with his band, "The White Crust Dough Boys" and filled in with Bob Wills and his band many times.
