Sarah Jane (Essick)Segraves was born Aug. 12, 1828 in Chester County, Pennsylvania daughter of Rudolph and Leah (Palmer) Essick. She married Stephen Segraves in Peru,IN on Nov. 16,1848 and they had 4 children,2 sons and 2 daughters. We were able to find two of them living with their parents in 1880,Fannie age 27 and Warren age 22.
Warren and Sarah were living together in 1900 and 1910. Warren was listed as being Divorced in 1910 so had to of gotten married between 1900-1910.
(Rudolph died before 1880 in Washington, Chester County, PA. His wife moved thru Indiana to Iowa to live with a son.)
