Thomas W. Coomer, Retired Southern Employee, Dies

Thomas W Coomer, 88, retired Southern Railroad employee, died Monday afternoon at 2:40 o'clock at his home, 510 north Ford street, following an illness of several months. Funeral services will be held Wednesday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Nazarene Church with Rev. C. R. Thatcher officiating. Burail will be in the IOOF cemetery.

Surviving are the wife, Lucinda Frances Coomer; three daughter, Mrs. Alva Gourley, Mrs. Charles Phillips. and Mrs. Porter Hollen, all of Princeton; four sons, Arthur, Ray, and Frank of Princeton and Herschell of Mt. Carmel; four stepchildren, Clarence Ingrum, Mrs. Ethel Conner and Mrs. Mable Hadburg all of Port Huron, Mich., and Mrs. Edith Kramer, Evansville; two sisters, Mrs. Lou Myrick of Oatsville and Mrs. Harriet Fletcher, Princeton; 35 grandchildren 51 great-grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.

Mr. Coomer was born December 29, 1860 but had lived in Princeton and vicinity for the last 45 years. He was a member of the retired Railroad Men's association and the Nazarene church. Mr Coomer is at the Colvin Son Mortuary where friends may call.
