Argos---Funeral services were held at 2 P.M. (CST) today for David Lolmaugh, age 87, who died early Tuesday morning in the home of his son, Lawrence, on West Walnut Street. He had suffered a stroke of apoplexy last Thursday following an illness of about four weeks. He was born Sept. 28, 1851, in Marshall county and had spent practically his entire life in the community, being a stone mason by trade until his retirement from active life. His wife, formerly Laura Ellen McClahan, whom he married June 22, 1873, died about 10 years ago. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Lester Savidge and Mrs. Lucy Styles, South Bend, and Mrs. C.J. Eaglebarger, of Argos; five sons, Chester Lolmaugh, Niles, Mich.; Louis Lolmaugh, Buchanan, Mich.; David Lolmaugh, North Chicago, Ill.; Emanuel Lolmaugh, Delavan, Wis., and Lawrence Lolmaugh, Argos; two brothers, Andrew Lolmaugh, Buchanan, Mich., and Harmon Lolmaugh, Newton, Kan. The service was held in Grossman Funeral chapel in charge of Rev. A.M. Thomas, of the Congregational Christian church, and interment was in Maple Grove Cemetery.
