Ryan Detmering, 2 year old son of Karla and Dennis Detmering of Fort Dodge, passed away on Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the Mitchell County Regional Health Center in Osage.
Funeral services will be held on Friday, July 29th, at 10:30 a.m. at Good Shepherd Lutheran Church with the Rev. Lyle Hansen officiating. Burial will be in Corpus Christi Cemetery. Visitation will be from 4 until 8 p.m. on Thursday at the Laufersweiler-Sievers Funeral Home.
Survivors include his parents, Karla and Dennis Detmering of Fort Dodge; brothers and best friends, Alec "Ali" and Cole "Dol" both at home; grandparents, Ed and Marilyn Bergeson of Fort Dodge; Fred and Linda Detmering of Fort Dodge; aunts, Tammy Schroeder and her husband Josh of Fort Dodge; Jamie Freeman and her husband Cody of Fort Dodge; an uncle, Curtis Detmering and his wife Angie of Indianola; and numerous cousins.
Ryan Gage Detmering was born on May 27, 2009, in Fort Dodge. He loved to be outdoors, playing with his lawn mower and swimming. Ryan loved spending time with his parents, brothers, and other family members.
Memorials may be left to the discretion of the family.
