Mrs. Josephine Elizabeth Zinser, 82, native of Liberty township and resident of Waldron R. R. 1, died at Major Hospital Saturday afternoon at 2:45. She had been ill for three years and her condition was critical for three weeks.
The daughter of Henry and Mary (Tebbe) Fischer, she was born September 23, 1874. On January 12, 1904, she was married to John Zinser who preceded in death. Her survivors are two sons, Frederick H. Zinser, Waldron R. R. 1, and John F. Zinser of Waldron; two brothers, John Fischer, Waldron R. R. 1, and Fred Fischer of Waldron, and two grandchildren, Paul Francis and Mary Jo Zinser.
Mrs. Zinser was a member of St. Vincent's Catholic Church and St. Anne's Alter Society. Her funeral will be held at the church Wednesday at 9:00 a.m. with Rev. A. H. Seger officiating. Interment will be in the church cemetery. Friends may call at the Murphy Mortuary after 6:00 this evening. The Rosary will be read at the mortuary Tuesday at 7:30 p.m. (Obit: The Shelbyville News, May 13, 1957)
