Daughter of Frank Nicholas Gast Jr, & Josephine Kroeger Gast. Employed 35 years with South Central Bell. Retiring as chief operator in 1959, she remained active with the Telephone Pioneers. She was an avid gardner, a voracious reader. She attended St Vincent DePaul Elementary School. A life long Catholic, she was a member of Holy Family Church for the last 40 years of her life. Angela was a kind hearted person who loved her family and pets. She fed stray animals, and wild birds calling them "God's little chickens".
At her death she was survived by two sisters, Rosella Gast wife of Joseph Ludwig, and Lillian Heinz wife of Norman Duerr, and her only child Elizabeth Ann Schickel. Her husband Arthur Edward Schickel pre-deceased her in 1988. She is interred in Evergreen Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.
