Mr. Benjamin Fisher, of Waldron, died this morning at 6 o'clock. He was much esteemed by all the citizens of Liberty township. A large family are left to mourn him. (The Daily Evening Democrat, Jan. 29, 1881)

DIED-FISHER-On Sunday morning, January 29, 1881, Benjamin Fisher, of Liberty township, of typhoid fever. (The Daily Evening Democrat, Jan. 31, 1881)

The funeral of the late Benjamin Fisher occurred at the Catholic Church this morning at 9 o'clock, and was attended by all the people in the vicinity of that gentleman's late residence. The procession was over a mile in length, and is regarded as the largest ever seen in the township. (The Daily Evening Democrat, Jan. 31, 1881)
