Robert John Fischer, 48, owner of Fischer's Southern Pines Trailer Park, died at Manatee Memorial Hospital Sunday (Oct. 30, 1966). Born in Shelbyville, Ind., he came to Bradenton 11 years ago from Louisville, Ky. Mr. Fischer was a member and trustee of the First Congregational Christian Church of Brandenton, member of Valley Lodge F & AM, Louisville, Ky., Manatee Chapter Scottish Rite Bodies and was past president of the Manatee Chapter of the Florida Mobile Homes Association.
Survivors include his wife, Mrs. Dorothy Fischer; a son, Chris Fischer, Bradenton; father, Charles Fischer, Shelbyville, Ind.; two brothers, Frank Fischer, Greensburg, Ind., Carl Fischer, and a sister Mrs. Lillian Pollman, both of Shelbyville, Ind.
Funeral services will be held Tuesday at 3 p. m. at the First Congregational Christian Church with the Rev. W. R. Lesser, pastor of the church, officiating. Burial will be in Skyway Memorial Gardens with Fay Firkins, Al Schmacker, Glenn Craig, John Kraai, Richard Travers and Ralph DeBoer, serving as pallbearers. Bradentown Lodge 99 F & AM will conduct graveside services.
