Mrs. Ross Braden, 1004 12th SE, ill about 10 days, died Friday at 11:10 p.m. at the Sanitarium of Paris, where she had been admitted early that afternoon.

The funeral will be held Monday at 10:30 a.m. in Fry & Gibbs Funeral Home Chapel with the Revs. Harvey Redford and Don McCoy officiating.

Interment will be in Evergreen Cemetery.

She was the former Miss Sarah Octavia McCuistion, a daughter of Mitchel Henderson McCuistion and Nancy Johnson Holbrook, and was born in the Jennings community, south of Paris.

She attended school at Jennings and Paris High School.

She married Ross Lawrence Braden and they lived in the Limekiln community until moving to Paris in 1943.

She was an active member of First Christian Church, its women's organization, and Loyal Builders Class, and also belonged to Mrs. T.D. Wells Bible study group.

Survivors include her husband; daughter, Mrs. Mary Ross Jenkins; two grandsons, Ned & Bob Jenkins, all of Paris; and a foster sister, Mrs. R.E. Joyner of Dallas.
