Death Comes To Alexander Carson
Funeral services for William Alexander Carson will be conducted at the Simmons home, 122 East Sixth Street at 2 o'clock Tuesday afternoon.
Carson, who was nearly 60 years old, died at the sanitarium, where he had been for the last month. He had been ill for more than a year.
He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Estelle Simmons, Hastings; Mrs. J. B. Eliot, St. Cloud, Florida; Mrs. Jennie Holt, Otis, Colo.; Mrs. Mary E. Van Horn, Millersburg, Iowa; Mrs. Mattie Armstrong, Trumbull. The two surviving brothers are Mac Carson (sic, Mathew Carson) of Grand Island and Cyrus Carson of North Platte.
Mr. Carson was well known in Hastings where he made his home when not staying on his farm near Trumbull.

Alex Carson, of Trumbull and Hastings, died at the sanitarium Sunday last. The funeral services were conducted Tuesday afternoon from the home of his sister, Mrs. E. Simmons of Hastings. The deceased was about 58 years old and was well known and respected in Hastingsand at Trumbull, where he spent his winters. We have know Alex for thirty years, and while he was somewhat crippled up from rheumatism, he was always of an optomistic disposition. He is survived by the following brothers and sisters: Mrs. Estelle Simmons, Hastings; Mrs. J. B. Eliot, St. Cloud, Florida; Mrs. Jennie Holt, Otis, Colo.; Mrs. Mary E. Van Horn, Millersburg, Iowa; Mrs. Mattie Armstrong, Trumbull. The two surviving brothers are Mac Carson of Grand Island and Cyrus Carson of North Platte.
