Albert Dyess Claimed by Death

Funeral services for Albert B. Dyess, age 63, were held from the Green's Creek Baptist Church Wednesday afternoon, Jan. 5th, at 2:30 o'clock with Rev. W. H. Wood, pastor of the Carson Baptist Church officiating. Burial was made in the Green's Creek Cemetery with Walden's Funeral Home in charge. Pall bearers were Fate and Edward Ward, Shady Dyess, J. W. Blount, Stanley Blount and Webb Loftin.

The deceased had been in declining health for some time and had been a patient at the State Hospital for the past several months. He was born in the Green's Creek community and spent his entire life in the community in which he was born. He joined the Green's Creek Baptist Church when a boy and had been a faithful member throughout the years.

He is survived by the following children: Mrs. Darce Kyzar, Prentiss; Mrs. Mittie McPhail, Miss Neddie Lee Dyess, Ross C. Dyess, James Lawrence Dyess and Edd Dyess, Carson; Misses Katie Lee and Flora Dyess, Whitfield. Three grandchildren also survive.

Albert Dyess Claimed by Death
