Born Nov 10, 1918, at Upper Tract, she was the daughter of the late Luther and Lena (Pennington) Helmick. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Eston G. Kesner Sr. in 1965.
She is survived by one daughter, Mary L. Franks of Marksville, La; two sons, Eston G Kesner Jr. of Moorefield and Richard W. Kesner of Paw Paw; three sisters, Ella Mae Smith and Anna Lea Helmick, both of Keyser and Ruth Helmick of Franklin; three brothers, Luther Helmick of New Creek, James Helmick af Brandywine and Richard Helmick of Franklin; nine grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; five stepgrandchildren; three stepgreat-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Dec 2, at the Kimble Funeral Home chapel, Paw Paw, with interment in the Woodrow Cemetery, Paw Paw.
