Morgan Head married Cynthia Clanahan on 2 Sep 1832 in Pendelton, Anderson Co., SC. After moving to Whitfield County, GA Morgan and Cynthia joined the Dogwood Valley Baptist Church, in 1847, where he served as the church clerk for many years. From 1873 - 1880 he was Justice of the Peace. They had 10 children:
