Funeral services for Myron William Johnson, 18 month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Wallace Johnson of Deming were to be held this afternoon, September 26, 1941 at 2:30 p.m.
The Reverand Clyde M Campbell was to be in charge of services, conducted at the St. Paul’s Methodist Church in Las Cruces.
Burial was to be in Masonic Cemetery, Las Cruces.
The baby died Tuesday, after what appeared to be only a minor illness; apparently recovering, he was suddenly seized with acute croup.
Pallbearers are Homer Farney, T. V. Nelson, Hudson Murrell and Eli Rawlings.
The baby’s paternal grandmother, Mrs. Nora Johnson of Hope, Miss Frances Johnson of Hope, Max Johnson and Mrs. Richard Attebery of Carlsbad and Mrs H. J. Dunne and Miss Marjorie Johnson of Hobbs, all brothers and sisters of the father, are here for the funeral.
Mr. and Mrs. J. Cloyd Miller came from Deming to attend the funeral.
